Occupational Therapist Jobs in Scottsdale: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a occupational therapist job in Scottsdale?
Scottsdale's strongest hiring comes from its concentration of outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy clinics, hospital systems anchored along the Shea Boulevard corridor, and a large and growing senior living sector in North Scottsdale. Candidates who hold specialty certifications in hand therapy, lymphedema, or neuro rehabilitation stand out in this market. Targeting the pediatric clinics around McCormick Ranch and the post-acute facilities near Kierland also opens doors quickly.
Which companies hire occupational therapists in Scottsdale?
Scottsdale occupational therapist roles are posted by HonorHealth, Voyage Health, and EmpowerMe Wellness and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Scottsdale's employer mix leans heavily toward large hospital networks, independent outpatient rehabilitation groups, and luxury senior living communities that staff at higher ratios than average.
Are there remote occupational therapist jobs in Scottsdale?
Remote work is limited for occupational therapists because the role is fundamentally hands-on and patient-facing. About 0% of occupational therapist openings tied to Scottsdale are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions tend to involve telehealth follow-up sessions, care coordination, or utilization review rather than direct treatment.
How can I get a occupational therapist job in Scottsdale with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Scottsdale is securing a Level II fieldwork placement or new-graduate position within one of the city's large outpatient rehabilitation groups or hospital systems, which regularly hire new graduates. Scottsdale's senior living communities and pediatric outpatient clinics also take on entry-level OTs and provide structured mentorship. Completing fieldwork locally builds the network that typically leads to a first hire.
Which industries hire the most occupational therapists in Scottsdale?
Scottsdale occupational therapist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Scottsdale's aging affluent population drives unusually high demand in senior living and post-acute care, while its cluster of sports medicine and orthopedic practices keeps outpatient rehabilitation hiring active year-round.
