INTRODUCTION
Our client, a growing name in e-commerce is seeking a Sr. Paid Social Media Manager with E-commerce and Leadgen experience. This is a full-time opportunity that is onsite 5 days a week. We are looking for a high-impact Senior Paid Social & Performance Marketing Manager at the intersection of lead generation mastery and revenue-driven growth. This is a strategic leadership position with direct accountability for client outcomes across a portfolio of lead gen and ecommerce accounts. You own paid social performance end-to-end — strategy, budget, creative direction, analytics, and client communication — equally comfortable scaling a high-volume CPL campaign for a franchise network as you are optimizing ROAS and contribution margin for an ecommerce brand. You think like a growth operator, communicate like a strategic partner, and build the systems that make both sustainable.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution:
- Own full-funnel paid social strategy across lead gen (CPL/CPA) and ecommerce (ROAS/MER/AOV/LTV:CAC) accounts with diverse KPIs and business models
- Build scalable campaign frameworks deployable across accounts; oversee budget allocation across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Scale ecommerce accounts through creative velocity, offer alignment, and product-level optimization; scale lead gen accounts through funnel efficiency and audience expansion
- Establish forecasting models and budget plans tied to lead-gen goals and ecommerce revenue targets
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization:
- Lead bottom-of-funnel analysis across account types — lead quality and CPL for lead gen; ROAS, MER, and CAC efficiency for ecommerce
- Build and maintain scalable dashboards; leverage Segwise and platform-native tools to surface creative performance signals and accelerate iteration
- Execute high-velocity testing roadmaps: creative, audience, bidding, and landing page — with data-backed recommendations, not just observations
Creative Direction & Collaboration:
- Serve as primary performance partner to creative — providing directive, data-grounded feedback optimized for lead capture or ecommerce conversion depending on the account
- Identify winning hooks, formats, and messaging angles; rapidly iterate and scale what works
Client Strategy & Communication:
- Lead QBRs with a clear POV: what worked, what didn't, where we're going — translating performance into pipeline and revenue narratives
- Proactively identify budget expansion, new channel, and upsell opportunities; contribute social strategy to new business pitches
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of paid social managers and specialists; hold the team accountable to outcomes, not activity
- Implement standardized campaign structures, QA processes, optimization frameworks, and reporting systems across all accounts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–5+ years hands-on paid social with explicit focus on lead generation / direct response; ecommerce account experience a strong plus
- Proven track record managing enterprise-level budgets ($50K+/month) with consistent CPL, CPA, and ROAS results
- Expert-level proficiency: Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager; LinkedIn a strong plus
- Deep knowledge of lead gen funnels, attribution models, and conversion optimization; familiarity with ecommerce metrics (ROAS, MER, LTV:CAC, AOV)
- Experience managing multi-account portfolios across verticals; demonstrated ability to lead or mentor a paid social team
- Strong client-facing communication skills; agency experience strongly preferred

Mid Level Paid Media Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level paid media specialist job?
Position your existing experience around ownership and measurable impact: highlight campaigns you managed independently, budgets you controlled, and optimizations you drove from analysis to execution. Employers at this level want to see platform certifications, proficiency across at least two paid channels, and examples of testing strategies you designed. Tailor your resume to show decisions you made, not just tasks you completed.
Which companies hire mid level paid media specialists?
Companies hiring mid level paid media specialists right now include Amazon, 24 Seven Talent, and Dolead, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad range of employers, including in-house marketing teams at consumer brands, performance-focused agencies managing multi-client portfolios, and growth-stage companies scaling their paid acquisition channels.
Are there remote mid level paid media specialist jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are widely available at this level. About 30% of mid level paid media specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how performance marketing work lends itself to distributed teams. Fully on-site roles do exist, typically at agencies or companies where cross-functional collaboration with creative and sales teams is central to the workflow.
How do I move up to a mid level paid media specialist role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on deepening platform expertise, taking ownership of full campaign cycles rather than individual tasks, and demonstrating results you can quantify. Earning channel certifications, leading A/B tests independently, and managing a defined budget without close supervision are the signals employers look for. Consistent measurable impact over two to four years is what moves a candidate from executional to strategic.
Which industries hire the most mid level paid media specialists?
Mid Level paid media specialist roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors invest heavily in paid acquisition because their customer journeys are data-driven and performance against spend is directly measurable, making experienced paid media specialists central to their growth marketing functions.
