Senior Level Partnership Development Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level partnership development manager job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who have owned a partner program end to end, not just managed individual accounts. Demonstrating that you have built or scaled an alliance strategy, influenced executive stakeholders, and driven measurable revenue through partnerships will set you apart. A portfolio of named partners you recruited or grew, along with examples of cross-functional leadership, signals the ownership these roles demand.
Which companies hire senior level partnership development managers?
Companies hiring senior level partnership development managers right now include BDO, Delta Air Lines, and Lyft, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to concentrate among technology companies, professional services firms, and large enterprises that run structured channel or alliance programs requiring experienced leadership.
Are there remote senior level partnership development manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 25% of senior level partnership development manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the relationship-driven nature of the work. Some employers require on-site presence for executive stakeholder meetings or team leadership, so check individual listings for location requirements.
What makes a partnership development manager role senior level?
Senior level partnership development manager roles are defined by strategic ownership rather than execution support. Candidates are expected to set the direction for partner programs, own pipeline and revenue outcomes, negotiate high-value agreements independently, and mentor junior team members. The scope expands beyond managing existing relationships to designing the frameworks, processes, and go-to-market strategies that the broader partnerships organization operates from.
Which industries hire the most senior level partnership development managers?
Senior Level partnership development manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Accounting & Auditing, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to rely on structured partner ecosystems, channel programs, or strategic alliances to reach new markets, making experienced partnership leadership a consistent hiring priority.
