Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Pay Rate: $2,700 to $2,800/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Entry-level may be considered
About the Role
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role is primarily inpatient with potential outpatient coverage and supports patients with neurological, trauma, post-intubation, cognitive, and swallowing-related needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy evaluations and treatment for inpatient and possible outpatient patients
- Support neuro, stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, trauma, and post-intubation patient populations
- Complete cognitive evaluations related to home safety and functional communication needs
- Perform and support swallow assessments and treatment planning as appropriate
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner and collaborate with the rehab care team
Requirements
- Active Nebraska Speech Language Pathologist License Required
- ASHA Certification Required
- BLS/BCLS Certification From American Heart Association Required
- Inpatient speech therapy experience preferred
- Must be available for day shift schedule and meet facility performance expectations
