Your Impact as a Payroll Clerk
In this role, you will:
- Maintain Payroll Records: Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data accurately and on schedule.
- Update Employee Info: Enter changes related to exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department transfers.
- Generate Reports: Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
- Calculate Liabilities: Determine payroll liabilities, including employee federal and state income tax, Social Security, unemployment, and workers' compensation.
- Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and professionally.
