INTRODUCTION
The Phlebotomist will perform phlebotomy in all areas of McCook Clinic as requested, as well as urine collection. Duties also include clerical work, such as answer the phone, fax results, verify and process orders, process manual bills, and file manual paperwork and computer work. The Phlebotomist will also maintain inventory of supplies, stock trays, and work with the Director of Laboratory on special duties and processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Previous experience with computers required
- Previous medical experience preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred. ASCP or equivalent preferred
