Phlebotomist Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a phlebotomist job in Seattle?
Focus your search on First Hill, South Lake Union, and the University District, where large health systems, independent labs, and outpatient specialty clinics cluster. Donor centers and mobile draw teams also hire regularly throughout the city. Candidates who hold a national certification such as the NHA CPT or ASCP PBT stand out in Seattle's competitive healthcare market, as do those with experience in high-volume or pediatric draw settings.
Which companies hire phlebotomists in Seattle?
Companies currently hiring phlebotomists in Seattle include Labcorp, One Medical, and Quest Diagnostics, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Seattle's mix of major academic medical centers, regional health networks, and national reference laboratory operators makes it one of the more active hiring markets for phlebotomists in the Pacific Northwest.
Are there remote phlebotomist jobs in Seattle?
Remote work is rare for phlebotomists because the role requires in-person patient contact and specimen collection. About 0% of phlebotomist openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those listings typically involve scheduling coordination, lab operations support, or training roles rather than direct patient draws.
How can I get a phlebotomist job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is completing an accredited phlebotomy program at a local community college, then applying to donor centers and high-volume outpatient labs that routinely hire and train new graduates. Seattle's blood bank and plasma center operators often provide structured on-the-job training. Volunteering at a community health clinic or hospital in the First Hill corridor can also build the draw count that hiring managers look for.
Which industries hire the most phlebotomists in Seattle?
Most phlebotomist openings in Seattle sit in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Consulting & Professional Services, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Seattle's dense concentration of academic medical centers, regional hospital networks, and national reference laboratories drives consistent demand across all three sectors throughout the year.
