Entry Level Power Bi Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level power bi analyst job?
Build a portfolio of real dashboards using publicly available datasets and publish them where hiring managers can see your work. Employers at the entry level look for candidates who understand data modeling basics, can write DAX formulas, and know how to turn raw numbers into a clear visual story. Internship experience, a relevant degree, or a completed analytics bootcamp all help you stand out against other new grad applicants.
Which companies hire entry level power bi analysts?
Companies hiring entry level power bi analysts right now include BARCEL, Unisys, and Coforge, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from mid-size firms building out their analytics teams, large enterprises with dedicated BI practices, and consulting firms that staff analysts across multiple client projects.
Are there remote entry level power bi analyst jobs?
Yes, though many openings still require at least some in-office presence. About 14% of entry level power bi analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so fully remote roles exist but are not the majority at this experience level.
