Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate data from diverse sources such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, Azure Data Lake, and Big Data platforms using ETL tools like Informatica and Talend.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability while ensuring data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts in Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or Shell Scripting to automate data processing tasks.
• Work within Agile development frameworks to deliver iterative enhancements and respond swiftly to evolving business priorities.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy scalable analytics solutions leveraging services like Apache Hive, Spark, and Model training techniques.
• Implement RESTful APIs for seamless data integration across systems while adhering to best practices in database design and linked data principles.
• Support the analysis of large datasets using advanced analytics techniques; identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Stay current with emerging trends in analytics tools like Looker and incorporate innovative features into reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle databases, and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Apache Hive, and Azure Data Lake.
• Hands-on knowledge of ETL processes using Informatica, Talend, or equivalent tools; experience with Python scripting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for deploying analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, linked data concepts, RESTful API integration, and model training methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile teams emphasizing collaboration, flexibility, and rapid iteration.
• Technical skills in Java programming; knowledge of VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting enhances your ability to automate workflows.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights for diverse audiences.

Pay: $84,915.52 - $102,263.85 per year
