Practice Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a practice manager job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on Atlanta's healthcare systems, multi-physician medical groups, law firms in Buckhead and Downtown, and accounting or consulting practices in Midtown and the Perimeter Center area. Candidates who stand out typically bring direct operations or office management experience from a similar practice setting. EMR system proficiency matters most in healthcare roles, while law firm roles weight billing and client-intake experience heavily.
Which companies hire practice managers in Atlanta?
Atlanta practice manager roles are posted by Kearney, Computacenter, and Aprio and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Atlanta's employer mix skews toward large regional health systems, specialty medical groups, and mid-size professional services firms spread across Buckhead, Midtown, and the northern suburbs.
Are there remote practice manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though practice manager roles are largely on-site by nature since the work involves supervising staff and managing day-to-day clinic or office operations. About 28% of practice manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those tend to be in consulting, revenue cycle management, or multi-site administrative oversight rather than single-location clinical practices.
How can I get a practice manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is moving up from a medical receptionist, office coordinator, or billing specialist role at one of the city's many outpatient clinics or specialty group practices. Grady Health System, Piedmont Healthcare, and Atlanta-area urgent care networks regularly hire in those feeder roles. Earning a medical office management certificate while working in an entry role gives candidates a clear edge when a practice manager opening appears internally.
Which industries hire the most practice managers in Atlanta?
Atlanta practice manager roles concentrate in Accounting & Auditing, Technology & Software, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Atlanta's position as a major regional hub for healthcare delivery, legal services, and financial advisory firms drives steady year-round demand for practice managers who can oversee operations across those sectors.
