Entry Level Process Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level process analyst job?
Entry level process analyst employers look for candidates who can demonstrate analytical thinking and familiarity with process mapping or workflow tools, even from coursework or internships. Highlighting a project where you identified inefficiencies or improved a workflow gives you a concrete edge. Degrees in business, industrial engineering, or operations are common, but relevant internship experience or certifications in Lean or Six Sigma basics also strengthen a junior candidate's application.
Which companies hire entry level process analysts?
Companies hiring entry level process analysts right now include Applied Materials, Micron Technology, and ASM, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from large enterprises in regulated industries, government contractors, and operations-heavy organizations that need junior analysts to support continuous improvement teams.
Are there remote entry level process analyst jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles are still common at this level. About 6% of entry level process analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting that many employers prefer new analysts to train alongside senior team members before working independently from a distance.
Are these new grad process analyst jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles designed for candidates just starting out. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects as qualifying background, and does not require prior full-time analyst experience. Employers in this category often provide structured onboarding or mentorship for early-career hires.
Which industries hire the most entry level process analysts?
Entry Level process analyst roles concentrate in Electronics & Hardware, Manufacturing, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their operations involve complex, repeatable workflows that benefit from dedicated analysts focused on efficiency, compliance, and cost reduction.
