<Job Overview>
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician who is passionate about installing, maintaining, programming and troubleshooting simple & complex BAS systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial BAS systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong controls background, accompanied by commercial mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure our clients’ operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Management of documentation, job coordination, vehicle and tool needs with minimal oversight
• Stays up to date with all new technologies and is willing to attend trainings to increase these skills as needed

Experience

• Proven experience as a controls technician with 5+ years experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial building automation principles related to networking, programming, installation and repair.
• Familiarity with schematics, controls design principles, IP & MS/TP system knowledge, and system troubleshooting techniques.
• Distech / Niagara knowledge and experience combined with programming/PLC skills to handle diverse service requests efficiently.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Experience:

• Controls / BAS: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Drivers License (Required)
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)
• Manufacturer branded BAS certification (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
