Entry Level Project Site Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level project site manager job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can demonstrate hands-on site exposure, even through internships, co-ops, or volunteer construction projects. A working knowledge of safety protocols, basic scheduling tools, and blueprint reading gives you a real edge. Highlighting any field experience in your resume, however brief, signals that you can operate in a live site environment from day one.
Which companies hire entry level project site managers?
Companies hiring entry level project site managers right now include Amazon, TikTok USDS JV, and TikTok, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The mix typically includes general contractors, infrastructure developers, and commercial construction firms that run structured onboarding programs designed to bring new hires up to speed on site operations quickly.
Are there remote entry level project site manager jobs?
Yes, though most roles at this level are on-site by nature. About 12% of entry level project site manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to involve coordination, scheduling, or administrative site support rather than direct field supervision. Fully remote options are more common with larger firms managing multiple projects from a central office.
Are these new grad project site manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior project site manager roles. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience and treats internships, capstone projects, or a construction portfolio as valid substitutes for full-time tenure. Look for postings that list a degree as the primary qualification rather than requiring several years of prior site management.
Which industries hire the most entry level project site managers?
Entry Level project site manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they run high volumes of active projects simultaneously and rely on junior site managers to support field operations, track progress, and coordinate between crews and project leads.
