Entry Level Project Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level project manager job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can show they have organized a project from start to finish, even in an academic or volunteer setting. A recognized certification like CAPM, hands-on internship experience, and familiarity with tools such as Asana, Jira, or Trello give candidates a clear edge. Tailor your resume to highlight scope, timelines, and outcomes rather than job duties alone.
Which companies hire entry level project managers?
Companies hiring entry level project managers right now include Jobot, Quanta Infrastructure Solutions, and ECS Limited, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, from large enterprises with formal rotational programs to mid-size firms that expect junior project managers to contribute from day one.
Are there remote entry level project manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles are also common at this stage. About 14% of entry level project manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who prefer flexibility have real options without limiting their search to a single city or region.
Are these new grad project manager jobs?

Look for language like 'entry level,' 'new grad,' or 'no prior experience required' in the job description.
