Entry Level Education Program Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level education program manager job?
Focus on experience that shows you can coordinate people and programs, even at a small scale. Internships with schools, nonprofits, or training departments, volunteer curriculum work, and hands-on leadership in student organizations all strengthen an application. Employers at this level typically want to see clear communication skills, comfort with data tracking, and familiarity with program planning basics rather than years of formal work history.
Which companies hire entry level education program managers?
Companies hiring entry level education program managers right now include Denver Public Schools, University of Oklahoma, and Emory University, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring comes from a wide range of organizations including school districts, edtech companies, workforce development nonprofits, and corporate training departments that actively build pipelines for early-career program staff.
Are there remote entry level education program manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles remain common in this field. About 7% of entry level education program manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with edtech companies and national nonprofits more likely to offer flexible arrangements than school districts or community-based organizations that require in-person coordination.
Are these new grad education program manager jobs?
Yes, the openings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles that welcome candidates at the start of their careers. A posting is new-grad friendly when it lists 0 to 2 years of experience, accepts internships or volunteer work in lieu of full-time history, or explicitly invites applicants with a strong portfolio rather than a long employment record.
Which industries hire the most entry level education program managers?
Entry Level education program manager roles concentrate in Education, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Agriculture & Farming, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
