INTRODUCTION
A World-Changing Company
Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an Internal Events & Talent Program Manager to join a cross-functional team responsible for the programs, experiences, and operations that support Palantir's people and culture. Our mandate is broad, but the core of this role is building community: designing and executing events and programming that connect Palantirians with our mission and values, within offices and across the globe. You'll own the end-to-end delivery of internal events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale company-wide programming. Working alongside other Talent Program Managers, you'll also contribute to the broader People Experience operation, ranging from supporting new hire onboarding (including facilitation!), employer branding, and external events. You'll serve as the operational backbone on key initiatives, improving processes to scale your team's reach, tracking projects, removing roadblocks, and staying ahead of needs. You're someone who finds satisfaction in fixing problems and building structure where there isn't any. You think carefully about how people experience a room, a moment, or a milestone, and you know that the best events feel effortless even when the work behind them wasn't. You embrace the best idea regardless of where it comes from, and you're comfortable navigating ambiguity and picking up new skills as priorities shift. The role and org aren't rigidly defined, and that's by design.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary operational owner of global internal events, from vision-setting and budget allocation to vendor management and on-the-ground execution.
- Design events and programming that build genuine community and connection across our people, while reinforcing Palantir's mission and values.
- Contribute to a wide range of operational workflows across the People Experience team, from Affinity and Interest Group programming to swag management and ad-hoc projects.
- Occasional facilitation of new hire and intern onboarding.
- Work directly with external vendors and internal teams (Finance, Recruiting, Legal, Physical Security, and others) to manage the full lifecycle of event logistics.
- Identify and onboard new vendors and tools to expand the team's capabilities and scale its reach.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges, manage competing priorities, and make sound tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment.
- A creative approach to project management built around lightweight frameworks, rapid iteration, and low-overhead communication that keeps partnering teams informed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across functions, both internal and external.
- Strong attention to detail and a habit of maintaining accurate records, tracking project metrics, and surfacing the right information to the right stakeholders at the right time.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- 2+ years experience in an operational role, preferably in a fast-paced or dynamic environment.
- Ability and willingness to be onsite 4-5 days per week when facilitating new hire onboarding or executing internal events.
- Ability and willingness to travel between global offices, up to 25% of the time.
SALARY
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $75,000 - $103,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.

Tips for Your Program Manager Job Search
Quantify delivery impact on your resume
Program managers are judged on outcomes, so replace vague statements like 'managed projects' with specifics: budget controlled, number of workstreams coordinated, or cycle time reduced. Hiring managers skim for evidence you delivered against a plan, not just that you ran meetings.
Match your methodology to each opening
Job descriptions often signal whether the team runs Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid. Tailor your resume's language to mirror that. A posting that lists SAFe or Scrum calls for different framing than one that emphasizes stage-gate governance and executive reporting.
Filter openings by program scope, not just title
Program manager roles vary enormously: some own a single product roadmap, others coordinate 20 interdependent projects across departments. Read each job description for the number of teams, budget authority, and reporting level before applying so you're targeting the right scope.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists program manager openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Prepare a cross-functional conflict story for interviews
Most program manager interviews include a behavioral question about aligning stakeholders with competing priorities. Prepare a specific example where you resolved a dependency conflict or resource contention between teams, and practice explaining what you decided and why.
Negotiate scope and authority, not just pay
Before accepting an offer, clarify what budget approval you hold, which executives you report to, and whether you have headcount influence. Program managers with identical titles can have wildly different levels of actual authority, and those details are negotiable before you sign.
Program Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most program managers?
The companies hiring the most program managers right now include Amazon, CVS Health, and Apple, with the largest share of openings in California, Texas, and New York, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Technology and defense contractors consistently maintain high program manager headcount relative to other industries.
How many program manager jobs are remote?
About 20% of program manager openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, making it one of the more flexible roles in operations and delivery. IT and software program manager roles tend to offer the highest share of remote options, while construction and facilities program management roles are almost always on-site.
How do you become a program manager?
Most program managers move into the role after several years as a project manager, product manager, or team lead. Earning a PMP certification demonstrates foundational delivery knowledge to hiring managers. Building experience coordinating multiple simultaneous projects, managing budgets, and presenting to senior leadership is typically more decisive than any single credential.
Can you get a program manager job with little or no experience?
Entry-level program manager roles exist, but they usually require at least some project coordination experience, even if informal. Candidates who have led cross-functional initiatives in analyst, coordinator, or associate roles often make the transition successfully by framing that work as program-level delivery. A PMP or CAPM certification can offset limited formal experience when applying.
What does the program manager interview process look like?
Program manager interviews typically start with a recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager conversation focused on delivery experience and methodology. Later rounds usually include a panel with cross-functional stakeholders and at least one behavioral deep-dive on a complex program you managed. Some employers add a case exercise asking you to scope, sequence, or risk-assess a fictional program.
Where can I find and apply to program manager jobs?
You can find and apply to program manager jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Find roles that match your experience and methodology background, then apply directly to each listing from the page.
