Entry Level Events Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level events manager job?
Employers hiring at this level look for hands-on experience over credentials, so internships, volunteer coordination, and campus event work all count. A portfolio showing real events you helped organize, even small ones, gives you a concrete edge. Familiarity with event logistics software, vendor communication, and day-of coordination demonstrates you can contribute from day one without extensive onboarding.
Which companies hire entry level events managers?
Companies hiring entry level events managers right now include Capital Vacations, Whatnot, and Louis Vuitton, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, hiring comes from a wide mix of employers, including hospitality groups, nonprofits, corporate marketing teams, and event production companies that build their coordinators up from junior roles.
Are there remote entry level events manager jobs?
Yes, though most events work involves on-site presence. About 60% of entry level events manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, typically covering planning, vendor outreach, and administrative coordination rather than day-of execution. Hybrid roles that split office time with remote work are the most common flexible option at this experience level.
Are these new grad events manager jobs?
Yes, the openings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior events manager roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or volunteer work toward the requirement, or asks for a portfolio in place of a lengthy work history. If you are a new grad, these listings are a practical starting point.
Which industries hire the most entry level events managers?
Entry Level events manager roles concentrate in Education, Hospitality & Tourism, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive the most junior hiring because they run recurring events, conferences, or activations that require coordinator-level support throughout the year rather than only seasonally.
