Entry Level Business Unit Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level business unit manager job?
Focus on demonstrating cross-functional coordination experience, even from internships, student organizations, or part-time work. Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can track budgets, support team goals, and communicate across departments. A clear record of organizing projects or leading small teams, paired with a business-related degree or relevant coursework, gives entry level applicants a meaningful edge.
Which companies hire entry level business unit managers?
Companies hiring entry level business unit managers right now include Eurofins, ABEC, and MemorialCare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Mid-size and large organizations across operations-heavy industries tend to build pipeline at this level, recruiting early-career candidates into rotational or junior manager roles.
Are there remote entry level business unit manager jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level are on-site or hybrid. About 33% of entry level business unit manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so candidates open to in-person work will see the widest range of opportunities while still finding some flexible options in the mix.
Are these new grad business unit manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior business unit manager roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or volunteer work in place of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates with a relevant degree and demonstrated organizational skills rather than requiring prior management titles.
Which industries hire the most entry level business unit managers?
Entry Level business unit manager roles concentrate in Medical Devices, Transportation & Logistics, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive early-career hiring because their scale and operational complexity create consistent demand for junior managers who can support unit-level planning and coordination from day one.
