Entry Level Facilities Project Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level facilities project manager job?
Start by building hands-on experience through campus facilities work, internships, or volunteer project coordination roles. Employers at this level look for familiarity with work order systems, basic project scheduling, and vendor communication rather than years of experience. A Project Management Professional associate credential or coursework in facilities management, construction, or operations gives your application a concrete edge over other entry level candidates.
Which companies hire entry level facilities project managers?
Companies hiring entry level facilities project managers right now include TSMC, Akraya, and ARCHKEY SOLUTIONS, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. A mix of corporate real estate teams, healthcare systems, universities, and property management firms regularly bring on junior candidates to support growing facilities operations.
Are there remote entry level facilities project manager jobs?
Yes, though most facilities project manager roles at this level are on-site given the hands-on nature of the work. About 0% of entry level facilities project manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions tend to focus on coordination, vendor tracking, and documentation rather than daily physical site management.
Are these new grad facilities project manager jobs?
Yes, many listings on this page are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates and candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad friendly posting typically accepts zero to two years of experience, counts internships or campus project work, and does not require a professional license. Look for language like "entry level," "junior," or "recent graduates encouraged to apply" in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level facilities project managers?
Entry Level facilities project manager roles concentrate in Education, Technology & Software, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive consistent hiring at the junior level because they manage large physical footprints, aging infrastructure, or rapid expansion that requires additional project coordination support.
