Entry Level Project Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level project analyst job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can demonstrate organized thinking, clear communication, and comfort with tracking tasks and timelines. A completed internship, a capstone project, or volunteer coordination work all signal readiness. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Monday.com gives candidates a real edge, as does any exposure to Agile or Waterfall workflows, even from a coursework setting.
Which companies hire entry level project analysts?
Companies hiring entry level project analysts right now include TikTok, Turner & Townsend Pty Limited, and aptim, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from a broad mix of employers, including consulting firms, technology companies, healthcare organizations, and government contractors, many of whom build junior analyst pipelines through structured onboarding programs.
Are there remote entry level project analyst jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 22% of entry level project analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, making this one of the more flexible roles at the junior level. Many hybrid roles require in-office presence for team stand-ups or project kickoffs, so candidates should check each posting for specific location expectations before applying.
Are these new grad project analyst jobs?
Yes, many of the listings here are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates with little or no professional experience. A new grad friendly posting typically requires zero to two years of experience and accepts internships, academic projects, or a portfolio in place of full-time work history. Look for postings that list a degree as the primary qualification rather than requiring prior employment.
Which industries hire the most entry level project analysts?
Entry Level project analyst roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors hire at the junior level because they run large, cross-functional initiatives that need analysts to track deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain documentation, work that is well suited to recent graduates building their first professional foundation.
