Entry Level Quality Assurance Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level quality assurance analyst job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who understand the software development lifecycle and can write clear, reproducible bug reports. Hands-on experience matters most, so internships, academic projects, or personal test portfolios all count. Familiarity with at least one test management tool and basic SQL gives candidates a clear edge over others applying for the same junior openings.
Which companies hire entry level quality assurance analysts?
Companies hiring entry level quality assurance analysts right now include DHL, FujiFilm, and MES Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Both large technology firms and mid-size software companies actively recruit at this level, often bringing in new grads alongside small cohorts of career changers who can demonstrate testing fundamentals.
Are there remote entry level quality assurance analyst jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid positions are common at this level. About 15% of entry level quality assurance analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how easily testing workflows translate to distributed teams. On-site roles still exist, particularly in regulated industries where product access or security requirements limit remote arrangements.
Are these new grad quality assurance analyst jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior quality assurance analyst roles alongside other entry level postings. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and explicitly accepts internship history, coursework projects, or a testing portfolio in place of full-time work history, making them accessible to candidates stepping into their first professional role.
Which industries hire the most entry level quality assurance analysts?
Entry Level quality assurance analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Those sectors drive demand at the junior level because their release cycles are fast and their products require continuous testing coverage, creating consistent openings for candidates who are still building their professional experience.
