We are seeking an MRI Technologist for a day shift contract opportunity in Morristown, VT. This role is responsible for operating MRI equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging
- Explain procedures to patients and help them feel comfortable
- Position and immobilize patients properly for MRI scans
- Monitor patients during scans under physician direction
- Review computer-generated images for diagnostic quality
- Follow MRI safety protocols and use protection measures for patients and staff
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and support smooth department workflow
Requirements
- ARRT(MRI) certification required
- Vermont state license required upon acceptance
- MRI Technologist or Radiologic Technologist experience accepted
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts
- Strong patient care, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging quality requirements
