Multifamily Acquisitions Manager
Arena Capital — Commercial Real Estate Investment & Development
South Florida
Join a multifamily acquisitions team at a founder-led platform that’s actively buying. You’ll work alongside our acquisitions team to source, underwrite, and close Class B/C multifamily across Florida — with the ability to have upside participation in the deals you help bring home. We reward the people who produce. This is a hands-on seat for someone who wants to run deals, not watch them — and build real wealth alongside the firm.
You’ll work the full acquisitions lifecycle as part of the team:
- Source the deals. Hunt off-market and on-market multifamily that fits our buy box, and build the broker, owner, and lender relationships that bring you the first call.
- Underwrite with conviction. Build and stress-test the model, defend your assumptions, and know your numbers cold.
- Scope the value-add. Get bids for interior and exterior upgrades, compare proposals, and build the renovation budget into your underwriting and business plan.
- Drive due diligence to close. Own your timelines from contract to closing and keep every third party moving.
- Win the negotiation. Draft and negotiate LOIs and purchase contracts in close partnership with ownership.
- Pitch the committee. Help build the investment package and present the deals you work.
- Stay ahead of the market. Know the growth corridors, the major employers, and the demand drivers before they’re obvious.
Who You Are
1. 1+ years of commercial real estate acquisitions experience — multifamily strongly preferred.
2. A real underwriter. You live in Excel and you hold up under pressure.
3. You know the Florida market.
4. Entrepreneurial and self-directed. Nobody has to chase you. You run multiple deals at once and follow through on every one.
5. A closer who’s persistent, results-driven, and energized — not drained — by a fast, high-stakes environment.
6. A team player who loves the art of the deal.
7. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
The Upside
This role comes with upside participation on new company acquisitions. Your production — and the deals you help acquire — builds your ownership stake. When the firm wins, you win, directly.
The Platform Behind You
You won’t be selling a startup with a slide deck. Arena Capital is a vertically integrated platform with a real track record:
- $232M+ acquired across 40+ transactions
- 1,621+ multifamily units
- Active capital, a live pipeline, and direct access to ownership on every deal
Ready to Build?
• Apply with your resume and a short note on a multifamily deal you’ve sourced, underwritten, or closed. Tell us what made it a good deal — or what you’d have done differently.
