Position Summary:
The Technical Records Analyst is an entry level position that will be responsible for managing and maintaining Quality Control and Aircraft Maintenance records according to regulatory requirements and Amerijet Company Policies. This position is responsible for tracking all department records, logging manual files, and ensuring electronic files are accurate and complete. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn office equipment is required.
Job Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
- Process and file component removals, to include updating the computer system and time-controlled component records.
- File Tags within their respective filing cabinets monthly.
- Process Tags daily requested in the SharePoint site for I/L, removed and Installed components.
- Review, Scan, Process, and file completed “A” checks and “C” executed paperwork, to include updating on the computer system.
- Review and process the completed work order documents, close the work orders in the software, and file physical work orders documents within the filing cabinets in numerical order similar to the log pages; monthly.
- Review and maintain aircraft Log Pages in numerical order, per aircraft registration.
- Review and process records for Engine and its LLPs in the system and file.
- Review and process records for APU and its LLPs in the system and file.
- Review and process records for Main Landing Gears in the system and file.
- Review and process Airworthiness Directive in the system and file.
- Maintain excel sheet report for aircraft LPs, ETRs WOs, A-checks & C checks.
- Review write ups in the software for aircraft log pages.
- If Discrepancies are found, Manager & Chief Pilots are informed to update on the discrepancy section on SharePoint; needs to be updated daily.
- Scan all log pages, Checks, Work Orders, and Tags into FLYdocs.
- Organize and keep record boxes up to date.
- Respond to records related queries that are received by email.
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Computer literacy and numerical aptitude. Skilled in utilizing office equipment (copier, fax, computer, etc.). Minimum two (2) years’ experience using MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word. Basic knowledge of using excel and working with spreadsheets is a must.
- At least one (1) year of general office experience is required. Previous Technical Records or Aviation Maintenance experience is preferable. Being comfortable reading quality related documentation is a must.
- Excellent organizational skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Able to correspond in writing and verbally in a professional manner. Bilingual English Spanish desired, but not necessary.
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge.
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will not have direct reports but may require training for new team members.
Language Skills:
The employee must possess good interpersonal and communications skills, be able to effectively present information, and respond to questions from managers and co-workers.
Physical Activities and Requirements of the Position:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; move about to the facility. Some light physical effort is required. Must be able to work well under pressure. This position may require limited travel.
