Regional Property Manager Jobs in Nevada: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional property manager in Nevada?
Most regional property manager roles in Nevada require an active Nevada Real Estate license, issued through the Nevada Real Estate Division after completing pre-licensing education and passing the state exam. Employers typically also look for a bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or finance, combined with several years of on-site property management experience. Professional designations like the CPM from the Institute of Real Estate Management strengthen a candidacy considerably.
How much do regional property managers make in Nevada?
Regional property managers in Nevada earn a median of about $55,670 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $35,370 for the lowest 10% to over $101,490 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional property managers in Nevada?
Companies currently hiring regional property managers in Nevada include Ovation, AIR Communities, and Cushman & Wakefield, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Nevada's sustained residential construction activity and large institutional rental portfolios mean that both national property management firms and regional ownership groups maintain active hiring pipelines in the state.
Which Nevada cities have the most regional property manager jobs?
Las Vegas and Reno account for the highest concentration of regional property manager openings in Nevada. Las Vegas drives the bulk of demand given its dense multifamily inventory, resort-adjacent mixed-use developments, and large institutional landlords, while Reno and Henderson generate steady openings through ongoing residential expansion and the growth of logistics and tech campuses that anchor commercial portfolios in those markets.
Are there remote regional property manager jobs in Nevada?
Yes, but they're rare. Regional property managers are expected to visit and oversee properties in person, making full-remote arrangements uncommon for the core role. About 50% of regional property manager openings tied to Nevada are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, and those arrangements typically apply to reporting, budgeting, and administrative functions rather than day-to-day site oversight.
How can I get hired as a regional property manager in Nevada with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is starting as an assistant property manager or leasing consultant at a large Nevada multifamily operator, such as the regional offices of Greystar or Alliance Residential, and progressing to a single-site manager role before pursuing regional responsibility. Obtaining your Nevada Real Estate license early signals commitment to hiring managers. Lateral moves from HOA community management or commercial leasing coordination are also recognized entry points at Nevada employers.
