American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room for an outpatient urology procedural setting requiring active GA or compact RN licensure and prior related surgical experience.
Details
- Outpatient RN - OR role in a urology ambulatory surgery center setting
- Supports urology procedures including prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, and vasectomies
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of relevant experience required
- Experience with Foley catheter insertion, sterile field setup and maintenance, and procedural patient care required
- CVOR RN or CVOR Tech candidates must have 18 months of full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong endovascular experience
Additional Information
- Assist providers in a fast-paced urology procedural environment
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered, with no exceptions for local candidates
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
- Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
