Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Child Psychology Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children and families, providing evidence-based mental health and behavioral interventions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in child and youth therapy, trauma-informed care, and culturally competent practice, contributing to the well-being and development of our young patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and trauma-specific interventions.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions aimed at addressing behavioral health concerns, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community resources to coordinate care and support the child's overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards.
- Manage crisis situations with appropriate crisis intervention techniques while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines.

- Extensive experience working with children, youth, and families in behavioral health settings.
