Entry Level Reimbursement Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level reimbursement manager job?
Focus on coursework or hands-on experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or revenue cycle operations. Employers at this level look for familiarity with coding systems like ICD-10 or CPT, attention to detail in claims processing, and any internship or practicum work in a healthcare or insurance setting. A cover letter that highlights specific billing software you have used gives your application a concrete edge over generic submissions.
Which companies hire entry level reimbursement managers?
Companies hiring entry level reimbursement managers right now include サイネオス・ヘルス, Syneos Health Commercial Solutions, and Genesis Healthcare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, health systems, insurance carriers, medical group practices, and revenue cycle outsourcing firms tend to post the most openings for candidates who are new to the field.
Are there remote entry level reimbursement manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles are still common at this stage given the training involved. About 10% of entry level reimbursement manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making it a realistic option for candidates who have demonstrated billing or claims experience through coursework or a previous internship.
Are these new grad reimbursement manager jobs?
Yes, this listing set includes new grad, recent graduate, and junior reimbursement manager roles alongside other entry level postings. A new grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or practicum hours in lieu of full-time work, or lists a portfolio of billing coursework as qualifying background. If the posting does not require prior employment, it is generally open to new grad applicants.
Which industries hire the most entry level reimbursement managers?
Entry Level reimbursement manager roles concentrate in Science & Research, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their revenue depends on accurate claims submission, timely insurer follow-up, and staff who can be trained on organization-specific workflows from the ground up.
