Entry Level Sourcing Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sourcing specialist job?
Employers hiring entry level sourcing specialists typically look for familiarity with applicant tracking systems, Boolean search basics, and an ability to build candidate pipelines from scratch. Internship experience in recruiting or HR gives you a concrete edge, but candidates who can demonstrate sourcing exercises, a sample talent pool, or coursework in human resources or business are also competitive at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level sourcing specialists?
Companies hiring entry level sourcing specialists right now include CEMEX, Graco, and Avient, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, from large enterprise organizations running high-volume recruiting teams to staffing agencies and growth-stage companies building out their talent acquisition function for the first time.
Are there remote entry level sourcing specialist jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 32% of entry level sourcing specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much talent acquisition work can be done digitally. Many entry level remote roles still involve regular video collaboration with hiring managers, so strong written and virtual communication skills are expected.
Are these new grad sourcing specialist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior sourcing specialist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic projects toward the requirement, or asks for a portfolio of sourcing work rather than a filled-hire history. Look for language like "entry level," "new grad," or "no prior recruiting experience required" in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level sourcing specialists?
Entry Level sourcing specialist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to drive entry level sourcing hiring because they run continuous, high-volume recruiting cycles and often build dedicated junior sourcing teams to feed candidates into senior recruiters' pipelines.
