Relationship Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a relationship manager job in Atlanta?
Start by targeting Atlanta's dense concentration of regional banks, credit unions, and wealth management firms in Buckhead and Midtown, where hiring is consistently active. Commercial banking and private client services are the strongest entry points. Candidates who demonstrate a book of business, CRM proficiency, and familiarity with Atlanta's business community stand out most with local hiring managers.
Which companies hire relationship managers in Atlanta?
Employers hiring relationship managers in Atlanta right now include Bank of America, UPS, and Citi, based on current listings on MigrateAte as of September 2026. Atlanta draws a mix of regional banks headquartered locally, national financial institutions with major Southeast operations centers, and fintech firms that blend traditional relationship management with technology-driven client services.
Are there remote relationship manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though with limits, since relationship manager work is fundamentally client-facing and most roles require in-person presence for key account meetings. About 56% of relationship manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, skewing toward larger enterprise accounts or inside sales-oriented positions. Portfolio monitoring and administrative responsibilities are the tasks most likely to shift to remote days.
How can I get a relationship manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is through a retail banking or personal banker role at one of the many community banks or credit unions operating across the metro, which routinely promote internally into relationship management. Atlanta's large healthcare and technology employer base also creates openings for junior account coordinator roles that build the client-management skills hiring managers want before stepping into a full relationship manager seat.
