At Viral Nation, we specialize in building social-first ecosystems for brands to connect with the modern consumer journey. Our integrated solutions align strategy, talent, media, and technology with culturally relevant creativity to scale the world's fastest-growing digital brands. Viral Nation offers a fluid, creative, and growth-oriented environment that will support your ambitions to apply your talents in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced culture. Our ability to stay at the forefront of the industry has fuelled our success and will guide us in paving the path forward. We're driven to push boundaries and think beyond today to deliver strategies, and we're just getting started.
While we continuously exceed our goals, we need your help – our success is only as great as our people. Strong performance leads to high expectations, and we must keep raising the bar!
We have one of the largest and most advanced proprietary data infrastructures in the world, spanning social, customer, and sourced datasets. The next step is turning that data into scalable, AI-driven products — not just models and dashboards, but working software that ships.
We're seeking a Solutions Architect, AI Systems who owns a problem end to end: scopes it with the business, designs the system, and then builds the first working version themselves. This is a builder's role. You architect the solution and you ship it — the two don't get handed off between different people.
What You'll Do Here:
- Partner with executive, strategy, and client teams to scope AI and data solutions from an ambiguous business problem to a concrete technical plan.
- Design the system, then build and ship the first working version yourself — architecture and delivery sit with the same person.
- Build and deploy functional tools, models, and internal products on our proprietary data infrastructure (Snowflake, BigQuery) — not dashboards alone.
- Write and maintain working code (Python, SQL, APIs) to operationalize models and pipelines — doesn't need to be enterprise-grade, needs to run.
- Deploy applied AI methods — LLMs, embeddings, predictive modeling — as real, working features, not proofs of concept that stall at the deck stage.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams to keep infrastructure aligned and data quality high as you build.
- Build internal enablement tools that let non-technical teams use and scale what you've shipped.
- Own your solutions past launch — monitor real usage, iterate, and improve.
You'll Need To Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience demonstrating technical excellence and business fluency.
- 5+ years in Solutions Architecture, Applied AI/ML Engineering, or Data Engineering, with a track record of shipped, working software — not just designs, specs, or dashboards.
- Proficient in Python (or a comparable language) and SQL; comfortable writing and deploying code that runs in production, even if it isn't polished.
- Experience building and deploying models, pipelines, or applications on cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, and applied AI methods, with real experience shipping them into working tools.
- BI tool fluency (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus — not a substitute for engineering ability.
- Product mindset — comfortable owning a problem from an ambiguous ask through to a deployed, working solution.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces without a large team around you.
- Background in marketing, the creator economy, or social intelligence is a strong asset.
- Please include a link to something you've built and shipped — a repo, a deployed app, or a demo — with your application.
At Viral Nation, compensation is structured, performance-led, and market-aligned. Pay decisions are intentional, based on role requirements, performance, and market alignment by country, and are set to maintain internal pay equity across comparable roles and levels.
Compensation progression is tied to demonstrated performance, expanded scope, and sustained contribution over time, not tenure alone. Employee compensation is reviewed regularly through formal performance reviews and check-ins to ensure alignment with role expectations and impact.
DEI Commitment:
Viral Nation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in our agency. Viral Nation welcomes applications from people with visible and non-visible disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruiting and selection process.

Tips for Your Remote AI Solutions Engineer Job Search
Document your AI builds for async review
Remote hiring managers evaluate your work without meeting you first. Write up each AI project with the problem, your architecture choices, tools used, and measurable outcomes. Clear async documentation signals you can work independently and communicate across time zones.
Target companies with distributed engineering teams
Remote ai solutions engineer roles concentrate at remote-first software firms and enterprises with distributed product teams. Focus your search on companies that have publicly shipped AI products to business clients, since those teams have established remote workflows and dedicated headcount for this role.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote ai solutions engineer openings from across the U.S. in one place. Search by role and apply directly to the positions that match your stack and experience level. Remote roles close fast when hiring managers are working asynchronously and reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
Prepare for async-heavy remote interviews
Many remote ai solutions engineer interview processes include take-home technical assessments, async video responses, or written design reviews before any live call. Practice explaining ML architecture decisions in writing and build comfort with asynchronous feedback loops before your first screening round.
Remote AI Solutions Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote ai solutions engineer job?
Remote ai solutions engineer roles go to candidates who can demonstrate both technical depth and the ability to work without daily supervision. Remote-first companies and distributed enterprise teams screen heavily for written communication, async collaboration, and hands-on experience with ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and solution architecture. Building a portfolio of deployed AI projects, contributing to open-source work, and showing clear documentation habits give you a measurable edge over candidates who only list credentials.
Which companies hire remote ai solutions engineers?
Remote ai solutions engineer roles are posted by Humana, Zones, and Provectus and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. The hiring companies tend to be remote-first technology firms, distributed SaaS platforms, and enterprise software organizations that build and sell AI-driven products to business clients.
Can you get a remote ai solutions engineer job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level ai solutions engineer roles are competitive because you're expected to operate independently from day one without on-site guidance. Remote-first startups and smaller distributed teams are more open to junior candidates than large enterprises. What opens the door is a portfolio of real AI builds, demonstrated ability to communicate technical decisions in writing, and familiarity with the tools remote teams actually use, such as cloud ML services and async project management systems.
Do you need a degree for remote ai solutions engineer jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh demonstrated skills, a strong project portfolio, and relevant certifications more heavily than a specific degree when hiring ai solutions engineers. Proficiency with machine learning frameworks, cloud architecture, and the ability to translate AI capabilities into client-facing solutions matters more to most distributed teams than where you studied. A degree in computer science or a related field can accelerate screening, but verifiable work and results can substitute for it.
Which industries hire the most remote ai solutions engineers?
Remote ai solutions engineer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Education, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors rely on distributed engineering and customer success teams that build, deploy, and support AI solutions without requiring engineers to sit in a single office.
