- Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with medical terminology and legal requirements.
- Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination, follow-up assessments, and community resource linkage.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance evidence-based practices and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an Associate Counselor of Mental Health (LACMH) with supervision eligibility for independent practice.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, or families in clinical settings; experience with pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus.
- Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral health interventions, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused therapy.
- Familiarity with medical records management, clinical documentation standards, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and telehealth technology platforms.
