You'll own the creative strategy for our direct-to-consumer brand, ensuring the right creative reaches the right customer at every stage of the buying journey. You'll work closely with leadership to understand business priorities, develop campaign concepts, and direct our internal and external creative resources to bring those ideas to life.
You'll collaborate with our graphic designer, video production partners, photographers, and freelancers, but your primary responsibility is determining what should be created and why, not necessarily creating every asset yourself.

- Own the company's creative roadmap and campaign calendar.
- Develop creative strategies that support new product launches, seasonal promotions, advertising campaigns, Amazon growth, website optimization, email marketing, and brand initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into complete creative campaigns.

- Build and manage a continuous creative testing roadmap.
- Measure success through business outcomes, including CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, CPA, and revenue.
Customer & Market Research
- Research and analyze reviews to understand buying motivations.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging creative formats.
- Identify customer objections and translate them into compelling messaging.
- Continuously uncover new angles, stories, and positioning opportunities.
Creative Direction
- Write creative briefs that clearly communicate campaign objectives and customer insights.
- Direct internal and external creative partners, including graphic designers, video production partners, photographers, and freelancers.
- Review creative work and provide feedback before launch.
- Ensure campaigns remain cohesive across Amazon, Shopify, Meta, email, and other channels.
Brand Growth
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while continuously improving how customers perceive Parcil Safety.
- Balance long-term brand building with short-term performance marketing.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through better creative.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you'll help us:
- Increase website conversion rate.
- Launch more high-performing creative each month.
- Improve advertising efficiency across Meta, Amazon, Google, and other paid channels.
- Build repeatable systems for creative planning and testing.
- Reduce creative bottlenecks by proactively planning campaigns.
- Create a predictable creative engine that supports business growth.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in creative strategy, performance marketing, brand strategy, growth marketing, or direct-to-consumer eCommerce.
- Deep understanding of customer psychology and buying behavior.
- Strong copywriting and messaging skills.
- Experience developing creative campaigns that drive measurable business results.
- Comfortable analyzing marketing data and translating insights into creative decisions.
- Experience creating creative briefs and managing creative projects.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience working with designers, videographers, photographers, and freelancers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Nice to Have
- Amazon creative experience (A+, Brand Store, listing optimization, Sponsored Brands).
- Shopify experience.
- Meta advertising experience.
- AI tools for creative development.
- Experience with consumer products or direct-to-consumer brands.
Why Join Us?

Tips for Your Remote Creative Lead Job Search
Show async creative leadership in your portfolio
Remote employers want proof you can lead creative work without real-time collaboration. Include case studies that explain your decision-making process in writing, not just final outputs. Projects where you directed contributors across time zones carry particular weight.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote creative lead openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through location-based listings. Applying early keeps you ahead of high-volume remote applicant pools.
Demonstrate your remote creative tool stack
Name the specific tools you use to run creative projects remotely, from Figma and Miro for ideation to Notion or Asana for project tracking and Loom for async feedback. Remote employers treat tool fluency as a proxy for how quickly you'll contribute without onboarding overhead.
Frame your cover letter around written creative direction
Remote creative leads communicate vision and give feedback almost entirely in writing. Use your cover letter to demonstrate that skill directly. A clear, concise explanation of a past creative decision tells remote hiring managers more than a generic summary of your role.
Remote Creative Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote creative lead job?
Remote creative leads get hired by targeting companies built around distributed teams, where async collaboration and written communication are core to how creative work gets done. Employers screen for self-direction, clear creative rationale in writing, and experience managing projects without in-person oversight. A portfolio that shows finished work alongside your process, plus demonstrated comfort with tools like Figma, Notion, or Slack, gives you a real edge.
Which companies hire remote creative leads?
Companies hiring remote creative leads right now include New Era Digital Marketing, ClickHouse, and Parcil Safety, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first technology companies, DTC brands, and digital media firms account for a large share of these openings, with distributed creative teams common across software, e-commerce, and marketing services.
Can you get a remote creative lead job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level creative lead roles are harder to land because employers expect you to direct work independently from day one with minimal hand-holding. Startups and small remote-first brands are more open to candidates who show strong portfolios, freelance or contract projects, and clear async communication skills. Leading a volunteer campaign or a personal creative project with real deliverables can open the door.
Do you need a degree for remote creative lead jobs?
Not always. Remote employers weighing creative lead candidates focus heavily on portfolio quality, demonstrated ability to lead creative direction, and results from past projects rather than formal credentials. A degree in design, communications, or a related field helps with some employers, but consistent professional work, a sharp portfolio, and strong written communication skills routinely outweigh academic background in remote hiring decisions.
Which industries hire the most remote creative leads?
The sectors hiring the most remote creative leads are Fashion & Apparel and Technology & Software, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These industries run distributed creative teams that produce brand content, digital campaigns, and product design without requiring leads to be on-site.
