About the Role:
Hims & Hers is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the growth of our Operations. This role will be the primary finance partner for a rapidly growing compounding manufacturing and pharmacy fulfillment operation, partnering with site leadership to manage labor, automation investments, and operational efficiency across multiple 350K+ sq ft facility with a multi-million dollar cost structure. The sites are scaling rapidly as Hims & Hers expands its operational capabilities, creating constant opportunities to improve processes and rethink how work gets done. This role will report to the Sr. Finance Manager, Ops Finance and will be physically located at one of our two facilities in New Albany OH, or Gilbert, AZ.
You Will:
Influence Through Data: Mine data to identify opportunities and influence appropriate stakeholders to improve fixed cost structure and unit economics. Support site expansions and process redesign initiatives. Evaluate automation investments and build end to end ROI models for new equipment.
Provide Strong Controllership: Own purchase order and headcount approvals for the site and ensure spending aligns with financial plans while strengthening financial controls as operations scale.
Financial Planning & Reporting: Partner with site leadership to build financial plans aligned with overall company targets. Build reporting and operational metrics that influence how the site allocates labor, deploys automation, and prioritizes investments.
Financial Modeling: Builds dynamic models to evaluate end-to-end financial impacts of CapEx investments and process changes. Translate analysis into actionable insights to guide decisions.
Process Improvement: Identify and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve financial and operational processes as the operation scales.
You Have:
B.S. in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience of Finance or a related analytic field
4+ years of experience manipulating large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets
Prior SQL, Python, or Looker experience is a plus
Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments where problems are not clearly defined.
Strong sense of ownership, bias for action, grit, and desire to win
Keen eye for efficiency and detail
Track record of delivering results through collaboration with stakeholders
Strategic thinker with a high level of intellectual curiosity
Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):
Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles
Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days
Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave
Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)
401k benefits with employer matching contribution

Tips for Your Remote Financial Operations Analyst Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote financial operations analyst openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sifting through unrelated postings.
Show your async communication clearly
Remote financial operations teams depend on written updates, not quick desk conversations. Include examples in your application of how you've documented reconciliation findings, escalated billing issues by email, or reported variances in a way a distributed team could act on.
List the financial systems you actually use
Remote employers filter fast by tool familiarity. Call out specific platforms you've worked in, whether that's NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Zuora, or a billing system tied to a subscription model. Generic mentions of spreadsheets won't move your application forward.
Prepare to demonstrate remote accountability
Remote financial operations interviews often include questions about how you manage close cycles or flag errors without in-person oversight. Have a specific example ready that shows you caught a discrepancy, resolved it, and communicated the fix clearly to stakeholders who weren't in the same room.
Remote Financial Operations Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote financial operations analyst job?
Remote financial operations analyst roles go to candidates who can demonstrate independent judgment and clear written communication from day one. Remote-first fintech companies, SaaS businesses, and distributed financial services teams are the most consistent sources of these openings. Employers screen for proficiency in tools like NetSuite, Stripe, or QuickBooks Online, comfort with async reporting, and the ability to flag discrepancies without waiting for in-person guidance.
Which companies hire remote financial operations analysts?
Companies hiring remote financial operations analysts right now include hims & hers, Reserv, and Emory University, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first fintech platforms, subscription SaaS companies, and distributed healthcare billing organizations make up a large share of these employers, because their revenue and cost structures require continuous financial operations support across time zones.
Can you get a remote financial operations analyst job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level roles are harder to land because employers expect you to troubleshoot independently without a manager down the hall. Companies that hire entry-level remote financial operations analysts tend to be early-stage SaaS startups or fintech platforms building out their finance function. A candidate can strengthen their case by showing completed coursework in accounting or financial systems, a project demonstrating reconciliation or reporting work, and a demonstrable comfort with cloud-based finance tools.
Do you need a degree for remote financial operations analyst jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh demonstrated systems proficiency and hands-on experience with billing platforms, ERP tools, or financial reporting workflows heavily alongside or instead of a degree. Candidates who can show clean reconciliation work, accurate close-cycle reporting, or process improvement in a financial context often move forward regardless of whether they hold a four-year credential.
Which industries hire the most remote financial operations analysts?
The sectors hiring the most remote financial operations analysts are Banking & Financial Services, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These industries rely on distributed finance teams to manage billing cycles, revenue recognition, and cost reporting across geographies where centralized office-based operations aren't practical.
