Position Summary
The Software QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies. Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Develop, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance test plans and test cases.
- Validate software applications to ensure functionality, performance, usability, and reliability meet business and technical requirements.
- Perform manual testing of web-based applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
- Execute testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support successful software releases.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Verify defect corrections and conduct regression testing to ensure system stability.
Software Development Lifecycle Support
- Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders throughout development and release activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Review business and technical requirements to ensure testability and quality expectations are clearly defined.

Defect Management & Process Improvement
