ROLE LOGISTICS

• Commitment: Approximately 15–25 hours per week, with the ability to scale during launches and major site work

• Location: Remote, with reliable overlap with Pacific Time business hours

• Compensation: $50–$125 per hour, based on portfolio, experience, and scope

THE OPPORTUNITY

Legion is hiring a part-time Growth Designer to make the path from first impression to patient conversion feel like one coherent experience. You will combine paid-creative strategy, strong visual and brand craft, and thoughtful web UX.

You will partner closely with Consumer Growth, paid media, SEO and web implementation, and Legion’s founders. You will turn growth priorities into compelling creative concepts, high-performing landing pages, and clear website flows that build trust and help patients take the next step.

This is a hands-on role for an independent designer who can move from a rough brief or performance insight to polished, testable work. You will own the design quality of the surfaces you touch and create reusable systems that help the broader team move faster.

AI-native design is a core expectation. You will use Figma AI, Framer AI, image and video generation tools, and comparable tools to explore more directions, prototype faster, and raise the quality and pace of the work while applying strong judgment to every final decision.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

• Develop paid-creative strategies, concepts, hooks, and visual directions for Meta, TikTok, and other growth channels.

• Design high-quality ad variants, creator briefs, landing pages, and website experiences that connect the acquisition promise to the next step in the patient journey.

• Improve Legion’s visual brand across growth surfaces, including typography, layout, imagery, color, hierarchy, and trust signals.

• Map and simplify key website journeys so patients can quickly understand Legion, decide whether it is right for them, and convert with confidence.

• Turn campaign performance, user feedback, and growth priorities into clear design hypotheses and a steady cadence of experiments.

• Build reusable templates, components, and lightweight brand guidance that make future creative and landing-page work faster and more consistent.

• Deliver implementation-ready work in Figma and, when useful, Framer or Webflow; collaborate closely with web and engineering partners through launch and iteration.

• Use AI tools throughout concepting, prototyping, production, and iteration to increase speed and creative range.

• Ship a steady cadence of strong creative and web experiments with explicit hypotheses and useful learning.

• Improve the clarity, trust, and conversion performance of the growth surfaces you own.

• Give the team reusable design systems and templates that increase speed without lowering quality.

• Operate independently, communicate clearly, and reliably turn ambiguous priorities into finished work.

IDEAL BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

• A strong portfolio that includes beautiful homepages or landing pages, intuitive web flows, and brand or growth creative. Show your personal contribution and the result.

• Exceptional visual craft across typography, layout, hierarchy, imagery, and brand systems, paired with sound UX judgment.

• Experience turning an audience insight or growth brief into multiple creative concepts and testable variants.

• Fluency in Figma. Experience with Framer, Webflow, motion, creator or UGC briefs, or direct-response creative is helpful.

• Comfort using qualitative feedback and quantitative performance data to improve work without reducing every design decision to a single metric.

• Demonstrated use of AI-native creative and design tools to materially improve the speed, range, or quality of real work.

• Clear writing, low ego, high ownership, and strong asynchronous collaboration.

• Experience in health care or another trust-sensitive consumer category is helpful. Strong judgment and exceptional work matter most.

COMPENSATION & ENGAGEMENT

• Hourly Rate: $50–$125 per hour, based on portfolio quality, relevant experience, speed, and scope.

• Time Commitment: Approximately 15–25 hours per week, with the ability to scale during launches and major site work.

• Work Setup: Remote independent-contractor engagement with reliable overlap with Pacific Time business hours.

• Engagement: Ongoing part-time contract. This engagement does not include equity, commission, bonuses, or employee benefits.
