Schedule: Day shift | Part-time

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Provides comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult patient population requiring observation
• Performs ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions to ensure early detection of patient status changes
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and safe, efficient patient throughput
• Educates patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge instructions to support continuity of care and prevent readmissions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire

What additional requirements you'll need:

• 6 months of acute care nursing experience preferred
• Must be willing to obtain the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification
