We are seeking a Construction Manager/Resident Project Representative to help oversee and manage a WWTF System Improvements Project. Responsibilities

- Responsible for budget monitoring, construction quality and safety on the project site
- Prepares monthly contract status reports, budget reviews, amendment requests and negotiations
- Responsible for working as a team with the contractor, client, field team and designer
- Responsible for review of work, rejection of defective work, inspections and testing
- Daily report writing
- Responsible for preparation of meeting agendas and portions of proposals

Qualifications

- 10+ years experience including a lead role in $30 million or greater wastewater treatment facility project
- Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course and other construction safety training
- Thorough understanding of construction management processes and in-depth financial understanding of construction management
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team, and deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be extremely organized
- Working knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Working knowledge and understanding of construction methods, standards, specifications and plans
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related program
- Proficient in Document Management Systems (i.e. Procore, Bentley PW/EADoc, etc.)
- OSHA 30-hour safety course
- Certified Construction Manager or ability to obtain certification
