American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Level 1 trauma facility NICU/PICU night shift position requiring 5+ years of recent critical care experience.
Details
- Inpatient NICU/PICU unit at a Level 1 trauma facility
- 12-hour night shift, 7p-7:30a
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Participation on Code Blue team
Requirements
- RRT certification required
- NRP certification required, NPS and/or ACCS preferred
- MA Respiratory Care license required if applicable
- BLS required
- 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
- Recent critical care experience in both NICU and PICU required
- Familiarity with lung protective ventilation required
- Level III NICU experience preferred
- Experience with Drager XL and v500 ventilators preferred
Additional Information
- Make ventilator management decisions based on patient assessment and lab results
- Work as part of a NICU/PICU respiratory care team
- Accepts local candidates within 50 miles at a reduced local rate
