Entry Level Sales Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales consultant job?
Focus on demonstrating communication skills and a results-oriented mindset, even from internships, campus sales roles, or customer-facing work. Employers hiring at the entry level look for coachability, persistence, and comfort with outreach. Tailoring your resume to show measurable outcomes, like leads generated or deals supported, gives you a concrete edge over candidates with generic work history.
Which companies hire entry level sales consultants?
Companies hiring entry level sales consultants right now include Carmax Business Services, Bayer, and Comcast, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The mix typically includes growing mid-size companies, national retailers, financial services firms, and technology providers that run structured onboarding programs designed specifically for junior hires.
Are there remote entry level sales consultant jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up the majority at this level. About 8% of entry level sales consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, giving candidates flexibility depending on their location and preferred working style. Remote postings are most common in software, insurance, and business-to-business sales.
Are these new grad sales consultant jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior sales consultant roles alongside other entry level postings. A new-grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or campus involvement in place of full-time history, and does not require a proven quota record, making them accessible to candidates entering sales for the first time.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales consultants?
Entry Level sales consultant roles concentrate in Automotive, Retail, and Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent hiring at the junior level because their sales cycles, products, and training programs are built to develop new consultants from the ground up rather than requiring prior industry expertise.
