Entry Level Digital Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level digital marketing manager job?
Employers hiring at this level look for hands-on proof of work over years on a resume. A portfolio showing campaign results, social media growth, or content performance carries real weight. Coursework, freelance projects, or a college marketing internship all count. Certifications from Google, HubSpot, or Meta signal initiative and fill gaps that limited professional experience leaves open.
Which companies hire entry level digital marketing managers?
Companies hiring entry level digital marketing managers right now include Jobot, TikTok, and U-Haul, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Startups, e-commerce brands, and mid-size consumer companies tend to post the most entry level openings because they need generalists who can run campaigns across multiple channels from day one.
Are there remote entry level digital marketing manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and role type. About 38% of entry level digital marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, making this one of the more flexible fields for candidates who need location independence early in their careers. Hybrid arrangements are common at larger companies that want some in-office collaboration.
Are these new grad digital marketing manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior digital marketing manager roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or freelance work toward requirements, or asks for a portfolio in place of a long employment history. Look for language like "entry level," "junior," or "recent grads encouraged to apply" in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level digital marketing managers?
Entry Level digital marketing manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Education, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they run high-volume digital campaigns, depend on organic and paid search, and need junior marketers who can own channel execution without requiring years of team management experience.
