Tips for Your Growth Job Search
Quantify your funnel impact clearly
Growth hiring managers scan for numbers tied to conversion, retention, or revenue. Rewrite every bullet on your resume to show what you moved and by how much, not just what you owned or managed.
Tailor your portfolio to acquisition channels
Bring a short case study to each application that matches the channel mix in the job description. If the role emphasizes SEO and email, lead with those results, not paid social wins from a different context.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists growth openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Filter for stage, not just title
A growth role at a 15-person seed startup and one at a 500-person Series C look almost nothing alike. Check headcount and funding stage in the job listing so you're targeting environments where your experience actually transfers.
Prepare a structured experiment walkthrough
Most growth interviews include a case question asking you to design or critique an A/B test. Practice stating your hypothesis, your success metric, your sample size logic, and what you'd do if results are inconclusive.
Negotiate using comp benchmarks by channel
Growth compensation varies significantly based on whether the role is primarily analytics-heavy, product-facing, or channel-execution focused. Know which of those buckets your target role falls into before you discuss numbers.
Growth Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most growths?
BK Behavior, TikTok, and Modus Closing are hiring the most growths right now, with openings concentrated in California, New York, and Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Demand is highest at companies with a self-serve or product-led business model.
How many growth jobs are remote?
About 68% of growth openings are fully remote or hybrid as of August 2026, making it one of the more flexible roles in the product and marketing space. Analytics-heavy and lifecycle-focused growth positions tend to be the most remote-friendly, while roles with heavy cross-functional or executive exposure more often require in-office presence.
How do you become a growth?
Start by building hands-on experience with experimentation and funnel analysis, either in a marketing, product, or data analyst role. Develop fluency in SQL and at least one product analytics platform. Build a portfolio of case studies showing measurable impact on a core metric, then target companies at the growth stage where experimentation culture is already established.
How do you get hired as a growth with little experience?
Focus on demonstrating analytical thinking over credential length. Run your own growth experiments on a side project, open-source tool, or volunteer organization and document the results. Apply to associate or analyst-level growth roles at early-stage companies, where teams are small enough that you'll own a meaningful surface area quickly and build a real portfolio fast.
What does the growth interview process look like?
Growth interviews typically include a recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation focused on past metric ownership, and at least one case or take-home challenge where you diagnose a funnel problem or design an experiment. Final rounds often involve a cross-functional panel with a product manager and a data or engineering lead to assess collaboration fit.
Where can I find and apply to growth jobs?
You can find and apply to growth jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level and channel focus, then apply directly to each one that fits.
