We are looking for a driven, growth-focused Director of Sales to lead new business development, strengthen customer relationships, and build a high-performing sales team across the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on winning new business, expanding share of wallet within existing accounts, developing people, and driving results in a fast-paced growth environment.
Position Summary
The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading business development and sales performance throughout the Pacific Northwest. This individual will play a critical role in expanding Evergreen’s market presence, driving revenue growth, and helping scale the organization during an exciting period of expansion.
The ideal candidate brings strong B2B sales leadership experience, a hunter mindset, and the ability to build lasting customer partnerships while leading and motivating a sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Drive aggressive new customer acquisition and regional revenue growth
- Expand business within existing accounts through cross-selling and relationship development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed volume, revenue, and margin goals
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close
- Build relationships with key decision makers across transportation, construction, industrial, marine, and commercial fleet customers
- Identify market opportunities and competitive advantages to accelerate growth
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop Sales Representatives
- Establish a culture of accountability, urgency, professionalism, and performance
- Conduct pipeline reviews, ride-alongs, and ongoing sales coaching
- Support team development through mentorship and hands-on leadership
Customer Experience & Sales Operations
- Partner closely with Operations to ensure exceptional customer service and retention
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies, market trends, and growth initiatives
- Provide customer and market feedback to help strengthen Evergreen’s value proposition
Qualifications
- 5+ years of success in B2B consultative or solution-based sales
- 3+ years of sales leadership or sales management experience
- Experience in fuel, lubricants, transportation, logistics, industrial services, construction, fleet services, or related industries preferred
