Entry Level Sales Solutions Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales solutions engineer job?
Entry level sales solutions engineer roles look for candidates who can combine technical curiosity with clear communication. Employers at this level often care more about how you explain a product or solve a problem than how many years you have logged. Internship experience, a technical demo project, or a history of customer-facing work in any capacity can all give you a real edge over candidates who rely on credentials alone.
Which companies hire entry level sales solutions engineers?
Companies hiring entry level sales solutions engineers right now include Smarsh, Stytch, and Scale AI, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, hiring comes from a broad range of employers, including fast-growing software companies, enterprise technology vendors, and SaaS startups that bring on junior talent to support established sales teams.
Are there remote entry level sales solutions engineer jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and role type. About 37% of entry level sales solutions engineer openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how many technology and software companies have kept flexible arrangements for pre-sales and technical support roles. On-site positions still dominate in some industries, particularly those requiring hands-on product demonstrations.
Are these new grad sales solutions engineer jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior sales solutions engineer roles. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or co-op work in place of full-time history, or asks for a portfolio or technical presentation rather than a lengthy employment record. If a listing does not require prior professional experience, it is almost always open to new grads.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales solutions engineers?
Entry Level sales solutions engineer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Artificial Intelligence, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely on technical sales cycles where companies need junior talent who can support product evaluations, assist in demos, and help customers understand complex solutions before a purchase decision.
