Senior Analyst
We are looking for someone who is passionate about using data to improve customer experiences and business outcomes. You love understanding how customers move through a product journey, identifying friction points, and uncovering opportunities to optimize conversion funnels. You are equally comfortable diving into complex datasets, defining measurement frameworks, and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to turn insights into action.
You are naturally curious and constantly asking questions. Why are customers dropping off at a particular stage? What product experiences drive higher engagement and conversion? Are we measuring the right things? What data should we be collecting today to answer the questions we'll have tomorrow?
In this role, you will serve as a strategic analytics partner to Product, Engineering, and Business leaders. You will help define and measure the customer journey, identify opportunities for funnel optimization, and influence product strategy through data-driven recommendations. You will also play a critical role in shaping our analytics infrastructure by partnering with Data Engineering teams to establish scalable data pipelines, event tracking frameworks, and trusted datasets that power future insights.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, a bias toward action, and the ability to translate ambiguity into structured frameworks and measurable outcomes. You will need to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders across the organization, and communicate complex findings through clear, compelling narratives grounded in data.
We are a learning culture. People who do well here:
- Are proactive and take ownership of both business outcomes and their own development
- Demonstrate curiosity by asking thoughtful questions and digging deeper to understand root causes
- Think strategically while remaining focused on execution
- Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics teams
- Seek feedback, continuously improve, and help elevate those around them
- Operate with a growth mindset and embrace change as new information becomes available
In this role, you can expect the following from us:
- Meaningful impact. Your work will directly influence product strategy, customer experience, and business performance.
- Autonomy and ownership. You will have the opportunity to define analytical approaches, shape measurement strategies, and drive high-visibility initiatives.
- Cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Engineers, and business leaders to solve complex challenges.
- Continuous learning. You'll be surrounded by curious, driven teammates who value experimentation, innovation, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Business leaders to identify opportunities for funnel optimization, customer experience improvements, and revenue growth
- Develop analytical frameworks that measure product performance across the customer journey and inform strategic decision-making
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify drivers of customer behavior, conversion, engagement, retention, and product adoption
- Define, monitor, and communicate key product performance metrics and KPIs
- Lead measurement planning for new product launches, features, and experiments
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks to evaluate product changes and quantify business impact
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to design, validate, and maintain foundational data assets, event tracking strategies, and scalable analytics datasets
- Identify data quality issues, measurement gaps, and opportunities to improve analytics infrastructure
- Build dashboards, reporting solutions, and self-service analytics tools that empower stakeholders across the organization
- Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations and compelling business narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
- Influence product roadmaps and strategic priorities through data-driven insights and recommendations
- Mentor and support junior analysts while helping establish best practices across the analytics organization
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics, Product Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field
- Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets
- Experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming languages
- Strong experience analyzing customer journeys, conversion funnels, and digital product performance
- Experience designing and evaluating experiments, including A/B testing methodologies
- Experience partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Strong understanding of data modeling, event tracking, and analytics data architecture concepts
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence decisions through data
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and independently drive projects from concept to completion
- Strategic thinker who can connect tactical analyses to broader business objectives
- Pragmatic and action-oriented; understands when to pursue perfection and when to deliver iterative value
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in marketplace, fintech, lending, or consumer-facing digital products
- Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Experience building event taxonomies, tracking plans, and measurement frameworks
- Experience leading analytics initiatives that influenced product strategy and roadmap decisions
