New Jersey does not have a state-specific license for this role, so employers focus on demonstrated proficiency with enterprise BI tools, data modeling, and stakeholder reporting. Industry certifications from Microsoft, Tableau, or Google can sharpen a candidacy, particularly at financial services and pharmaceutical firms common in the state.
How much do senior business intelligence analysts make in New Jersey?
Senior business intelligence analysts in New Jersey earn a median of about $135,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $80,720 for the lowest 10% to over $203,950 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior business intelligence analysts in New Jersey?

New Jersey's concentration of pharmaceutical headquarters, insurance carriers, and financial services firms creates a consistent pipeline of senior BI openings across the state year-round.
Which New Jersey cities have the most senior business intelligence analyst jobs?
Edison, Franklin Lakes, and Princeton Junction lead New Jersey for senior business intelligence analyst openings.
