Annexa is currently supporting D.C. Government's Office of the Chief Technology Officer and are searching for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This position will be responsible for maintaining and performing continual service improvements on the following implemented modules: ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work with product owner/stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements.
- Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases.
- Performs operational administrative tasks, as needed.
- Assists with report configuration and maintenance, as needed.
- Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Design/ Develop ServiceNow Forms and Tables as well as Modules.
- Develop Workflow / Flow Design where required to drive Approvals and Process Lifecycle.
- Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal).
- Design, create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, agency security guidelines, governance policies and maintain as close to an out of the box environment as possible.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development (ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM).
- 6+ years of experience of proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
- 6+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture and ServiceNow scripting.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
