Who's Hiring

Social Media Coordinator Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a social media coordinator job in Phoenix?
Focus on Phoenix's most active hiring sectors: hospitality and tourism, commercial real estate, healthcare systems, and the growing retail and restaurant scene. Jobs concentrate in Downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale's Old Town corridor, and Tempe near Arizona State University. Candidates who can show platform-specific results, content calendars they've owned, and familiarity with the Phoenix market's audience tend to move faster through hiring than those with generic portfolios.
Which companies hire social media coordinators in Phoenix?
Phoenix social media coordinator roles are posted by Turning Point Action, VOTE, and Sarku Japan and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Phoenix's mix of large healthcare networks, regional hospitality brands, and fast-growing retail chains means openings come from both established employers and mid-size companies building out their marketing teams.
Are there remote social media coordinator jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though most roles lean toward hybrid given how much Phoenix employers rely on coordinators for local content, on-site shoots, and community engagement. About 25% of social media coordinator openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the fully remote positions skewing toward national brands and digital-first companies based in the area. Content strategy and analytics work tends to be the most remote-friendly part of the role locally.
How can I get a social media coordinator job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is through Arizona State University's campus-area employers and student-run organizations, which regularly hire coordinators at the assistant level. Local nonprofits, boutique hotels along Scottsdale Road, and small Phoenix restaurants often bring on junior coordinators willing to learn on the job. Building a portfolio with real local content, even from volunteer or freelance work for Phoenix-area businesses, gives you a concrete edge over candidates without regional examples.
