INTRODUCTION
We’re looking for a highly creative, strategically minded Social Producer with agency experience to help bring big ideas to life across social, digital, and integrated campaigns. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move from concept to execution — creating strong content, shaping social-first ideas, and helping deliver campaigns that feel cohesive across every touchpoint. You’ll work closely with creative, strategy, account, and brand partners to develop and produce content that is culturally relevant, visually compelling, and built to perform. The ideal person has a strong understanding of how social fits into larger 360 campaigns and knows how to make work that is both creatively strong and strategically smart.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and produce social-first content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
Partner with creative and strategy teams to turn campaign ideas into content plans, production concepts, and compelling assets.
Help shape social strategy and identify opportunities for brands to show up in relevant, engaging ways.
Lead and support content production from concepting through shooting, editing, and final delivery.
Create a mix of video, photography, motion graphics, and platform-native assets, while ensuring all work aligns with the brand’s voice, visual identity, and larger campaign goals.
Collaborate across teams to support integrated 360 campaigns spanning social, digital, influencer, experiential, retail, and other brand touchpoints.
Stay current on platform trends, audience behavior, new content formats, and cultural moments, then translate those insights into actionable creative ideas.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3–5+ years of experience in social production, content creation, creative production, or a related role within an agency environment.
You should have a strong portfolio that demonstrates hands-on involvement in creating social content, motion graphics, and integrated campaign work.
You have strong video production and editing skills, plus experience creating motion graphics and animated content.
You understand what makes social content perform, but you also know how to connect social ideas back to a larger brand or campaign strategy.
You’re highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
You bring a strong creative point of view, know how to work from a brief, and can take an idea from an early concept through polished final execution.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working across lifestyle, home, design, beauty, fashion, or consumer brands.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related production tools.
Experience supporting influencer or creator-led content.

Mid Level Social Media Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level social media coordinator job?
Position your application around ownership, not just execution. Highlight campaigns you led from strategy through reporting, platforms you managed independently, and results you drove without heavy supervision. Tailor your portfolio to show platform-specific expertise, whether that is short-form video, community management, or paid-organic integration, and frame your experience in terms of business impact rather than task completion.
Which companies hire mid level social media coordinators?
Companies hiring mid level social media coordinators right now include 24 Seven Talent, Flexport, and Sodexo, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad range of employers, including consumer brands, media companies, and professional services firms that need coordinators who can operate with real autonomy.
Are there remote mid level social media coordinator jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are common at this level. About 23% of mid level social media coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how many marketing teams have built distributed workflows around collaboration tools and async reporting. Fully on-site roles tend to cluster in organizations with in-house production studios or retail environments.
How do I move up to a mid level social media coordinator role?
Moving into mid level means building a record of independent project ownership, not just task completion. Focus on managing a content calendar without constant direction, developing platform-specific expertise, and quantifying your impact through engagement, growth, or conversion metrics. Taking on cross-functional projects, mentoring newer teammates, and contributing to strategy discussions signals you are ready for greater scope.
