Purpose of the Job
This role is a key part of a dedicated global in-house creative production team driving creative innovation within the marketing team of this long-time client - a global leader in the Tech industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Creative Technologist to join the team based in the US. This role is focused on delivering high-volume, high-impact marketing assets for Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and Through-the-Line (TTL) campaigns, with a primary emphasis on the US and LATAM markets. The ideal candidate is an expert at the intersection of creative production, software engineering, and emerging technology. A core responsibility will be leveraging AI and automation tools to revolutionize the creative workflow, significantly increasing asset output, improving operational efficiency, and directly contributing to revenue, customer acquisition, and return on investment (ROI). This is a pivotal role for scaling digital marketing production across diverse global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Workflow Innovation
- AI/ML Integration: Implement state-of-the-art AI/Machine Learning tools to streamline and enhance the creative production process from ideation to delivery.
- Automation Development: Deploy automation solutions for repetitive tasks, focusing on dynamic content creation, asset resizing, localization, personalization, and distribution, particularly for large volumes of digital marketing assets.
- Prototyping & Experimentation: Rapidly prototype new advertising formats, interactive experiences, and creative-technology solutions (e.g., AR/VR filters, data-driven creative) for campaign testing and deployment.
- Tool Stack Management: Act as the technical expert for creative technology tools (e.g., CMS integrations, DCO platforms, asset management systems), ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the agency's infrastructure.
Creative Production & Execution
- Data-Driven Creative: Work closely with Data Science and Media teams to translate performance data into actionable creative requirements, building systems that enable real-time asset optimization and personalization at scale.
- Asset Scalability: Design and implement modular creative systems and templates that maximize efficiency across multiple formats, platforms, and language variants required for US and LATAM markets.
- Technical Consultation: Serve as the technical bridge between creative teams, developers, and media platforms, ensuring creative output is technically sound, platform-compliant, and optimized for performance across digital channels (e.g., social, display, programmatic, video).
- Quality Assurance: Define and maintain technical specifications and quality control protocols for automated and AI-generated assets, ensuring brand consistency and market-specific relevance.
Market Focus & Business Impact
- Performance Optimization: Focus production efforts on driving measurable business outcomes: maximizing revenue generation, increasing customer acquisition rates, and improving campaign ROI, especially within the key US and LATAM segments.
- Global Scaling: Develop technologies and processes that enable the rapid scaling of creative campaigns from a core concept into thousands of localized and personalized digital executions.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Creative Technologist, Technical Artist, Creative Developer, or similar role within an agency or in-house creative production environment. Experience supporting large, global tech clients is highly desirable.
- Programming Proficiency: Highly proficient in scripting/programming languages relevant to creative automation (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and API integration).
- AI/ML Expertise: Demonstrable experience working with and implementing generative AI models (e.g., image, text, video) and understanding of their application within a commercial creative production pipeline.
- Creative Toolset: Strong understanding of standard creative software workflows (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and the ability to interface with these tools programmatically (e.g., ExtendScript, integrating with APIs).
- Digital Platforms: Deep technical knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, including DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimization) platforms, ad servers, ad formats (HTML5, video), and major social media/programmatic platforms.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of designing efficient, high-volume production systems.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese (due to LATAM focus) is a significant advantage.
Additional Desired Skills
- Familiarity with marketing performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV) and experience linking creative technology implementations to these outcomes.
- Experience with cloud-based services for media processing (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Creative Directors, Account Managers).
Compensation
For New York and California applicants: The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. Mid Level Creative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level creative job?
Position yourself around ownership, not just contribution. Recruiters at this level want to see work you drove from brief to final deliverable, not just tasks you completed under direction. Highlight projects where you set the creative direction, solved a real problem, or shipped something measurable. A focused portfolio with clear context on your role in each project does more than a long list of credits.
Which companies hire mid level creatives?
Companies hiring mid level creatives right now include TikTok, Amazon, and Amyx, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Both in-house brand teams and creative agencies hire at this level, often looking for specialists who can work independently and contribute to larger multi-disciplinary campaigns.
Are there remote mid level creative jobs?
Yes, and remote availability is strong at this level. About 32% of mid level creative openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how many creative disciplines, from copywriting and design to art direction and content strategy, translate well to distributed teams. Hybrid roles tend to cluster in larger metro markets where brand teams want some in-person collaboration.
How do I move up to a mid level creative role?
The jump from entry level to mid level happens when you shift from executing tasks to owning outcomes. Build that reputation by volunteering for full projects rather than pieces, documenting the impact of your work, and developing a point of view on your craft. Consistent delivery across a range of briefs, combined with the ability to explain your creative decisions clearly, signals readiness for more responsibility.
Which industries hire the most mid level creatives?
Mid Level creative roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors tend to run active content operations, product marketing, and brand functions that need creatives who can work with strategic context and produce consistently without heavy supervision.
